Hello all..Have been most satisfied with loudcasters...just wanted to be reminded of options available for putting my station on other station listings other than loudcaster...I know there was I think a 5 dollar option of some sort that I can't recall, nor find on the loudcaster site right now. Would like to get the word to those who currently have no clue about my station. Could someone remind me of the option(s). Thanks. Dan

The only thing as far as 3rd party listing is TuneIn. Loudcaster discontinued the SHOUTcast option.

I'm really wondering if Loudcaster will kill my Shoutcast servers as well when I switch to Loudcaster V2. I know this is due to a grey area in licensing as to rather it is legal to have our stations on Shoutcast because Shoutcast dose not pay royalties of any kind. From what I've read in other Shoutcast forums this is an issue for those on other networks as well. I know it sounds like I'm spamming, but what if I was to go through http://streamlicensing.com because they say you can purchase or for a better word "Rent" per month from a Shoutcast host, give them the password to monitor your songs played and then send the reports to Sound Exchange. If this is true then if I purchase a subscription plan for either streamlicensing.com or maybe loudcity would I be able to relay my Loudcaster stream to iTunes via the icecast server the one Loudcaster uses to relay to Shoutcast and Tunein. I'm afraid that soon even though I have been grandfathered that I'll lose this option and this will all but KILL The Legacy as my listeners know it.

I've been letting my iTunes listeners know that this could be a problem and that they should listen to my station from now on via http://thelegacyradio.com and either clicking Loudcaster's listen link or if they are picky about sound and demand 128K to buy a VIP membership to my Live 365 stream. But I don't see folks flocking to Loudcaster's stream or Live365's. This means that possibly if my Shoutcast stream is forced to go dark one day that The Legacy will be a crippled station.

    Any Thoughts?

    Best Regards.

StreamLicensing's pricing it a tad high for my tastes. They look like the license you directly to SoundExchange and overcharge you for A/B/S licensing. You have the ability to list your station on multiple listing sites.
