Commercials and Promotions

We want to be clear on Loudcaster policies about commercial advertisements and running promotions on the stations. Is this allowed at all? If not can we direct people to work with Loudcaster? I know revenue possibilities are in the works, just wanted clarification. We're not a commercial station but we do get inquiries about advertising. Thank you.

You cannot place commercials in your stream. You can sell ads on your own website.

Thank you Reaper, that's pretty much what we thought.

Depending on the amount of traffic you plan on getting, Google Adsense works good. If you choose their Rich Content ads, the ads are very well done. So far this month I have just over $5 in revenue with just over a week to go. If I can generate $20 every few months I would be happy with that. I have a verified average of over 500 visitors a day.

Thanks. We have AdSense and Amazon setup and in large part web ads were our biggest focus. We promote local bands/scene and usually just announce what we know about upcoming shows. $20 would take out a nice chunk for now.
