TLH / Listeners Dashboard
  • I've noticed if I'm listening to my radio station and stop playing, but keep the web page open the dashboard keeps showing I'm still listening. When I close the webpage it will then disconnect.

    Yes this the only downside of using flash Player. I've noticed Firefox does this worse than Google Chrome does. I've even noticed in some cases when I was messing around with Shoutcast on a different services and when web players listened to my station using Flash that sometimes it can even show up as more than one instance of flash because your ip would show up more than once in the Shoutcast DNAS. This is the down side of Flash player and Shoutcast. Live365 figured a way around this, but not sure how they've done it. Maybe because their player uses activeX alongside of flash don't know.
