Station with multiple DJS, sharing statistics?
  • MP3J_SarkMP3J_Sark December 2011
    So, I've got a station here now (Praxis Radio). I have a couple of other DJs who take turns going live. How do I allow them to see the statistics page without giving them the master password? They'd like to be able to see how many listeners are tuned in, etc.

    Any advice is appreciated, even if it's a little off topic. :-)

    I don't think you can do that. Depending on their DJ software, they could have those numbers sent to their computer using the Statistic Relay feature. I know it is available in Sam and RadioBoss.

    Who do I talk to about proposing a back-end feature wherein Station account holders can attach other Loudcaster accounts to the Station as guest DJs, with access to the statistics page? Since most people have to log in with an account on Loudcaster.com, it should be easy to facilitate.

    I sent a message using the "Support" form a few weeks ago, and nobody got back to me. :-(

    @MP3J_Sark

    As part of our 2012 Roadmap, we're working on support for multiple DJs for a given channel, what that looks like, what features are nice, which are required and what will it take to implement them. This particular set of features has a lot to do with security, and therefore has several gotchas so we were unable to roll it out with our end of year release.

    Thanks! I too would be willing to actively test these potential features.
