Have I purchased the right things?

    I am starting a talk radio show that will play some music as well. I have purchased an Alesis USB mixer and 2 regular XLR cable microphones. The software that I am looking to purchase is the SAM Cast. Does this sound like it will work?

    I just looked at SAMcast. It is basically encoders. You will need other software to play your music and do any scheduling. You would be better off with either SAM4 or Station Playlist. Both SAM4 and Station Playlist are very inexpensive for radio station automation software. Other products cost in the thousands of dollars.
